From the cosmically large and powerful to the infinitesimally small and amazing, technology allows insight to penetrate beyond the limits of scale in time and space. The SC06 Masterworks presentations will highlight novel and innovative ways to apply high performance computing, networking, and storage technologies to solve the most world's most challenging problems and answer the questions fundamental to our understanding of the world around us and our existence. The SC06 Masterworks program showcases technology and applications which were truly "beyond imagination" just a few short years ago, but are now within our grasp.
